History of the Hashtag

You’ve seen it everywhere. The addition of the # to words or phrases. The hashtag is defined as, “(on social-networking websites) a word or phrase preceded by a hash mark (#), used within a message to identify keyword or topic of interest and facilitate a search for it.” (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/hashtag).

FASO’s Rated P event revolves around the use of social media platforms, such as twitter, to spread ideas, causes, and opinions. Do YOU want to make your own beliefs heard?
